Some of my favorite things to do in my down time are play soccer with my sisters or attend Morgan's soccer games at Bethany University where she plays defense. Growing up, I was able to play alongside my sister Morgan for many years, so when our hometown Recreation Advisor asked my sister and me if we would like to coach the summer youth soccer teams, we were so excited! Every other day, the two of us got to plan and administer practice and scrimmages for kids between ages five and ten. It was challenging, but so rewarding getting to see all their little faces light up when they finally made a successful shot on net or a pass to their friend. There's so much I've learned from the players over the years that I have left wondering who helped who.

 

 For starters, did you know that the game "tag" that we all have played as kids actually stands for "touch and go"?! Yeah, my jaw was on the ground too.
